Shyam's blog

Most boring day ever (till date).

I have been lousy all through out the day. No matter what I try to do, I don't feel like doing it. I thought of doing various things

  • Work out in the morning
  • Working on my next video project
  • Reading 'Understanding Exposure'
  • Watching movie / documentary at home
  • Tried with TV / Music
  • Even blog list, that was pending for couple of days

Nothing did help me get along with this boredom. All my dudes were roaming out. Even, my brothers family is out. Till date, this is the most boring day ever in my life. Had my wife been here, this day would have passed by in few minutes. I miss her badly.

My hearts sings for 'my love'

Everyone at work asks me how I have been after marriage. Don't know how to respond these dudes, other than saying 'Doing great / awesome!', I wish my sweetie is by me. She would be here 45 days from now and till then I would refresh our sweet memories.

Instead of feeling depressed, my heart would rather sing for her and I couldn't express any better by writing below poem.

When blessed get rights to bless...

In India it's customary to get blessing from their elders. Legendary tales say that while a person seeking blessings touch the elders feet and elders hand on top of seekers head, it offers a means to transfer the powers from elders to seekers.

I am not sure of what power can be gained, but there are 3 such scenarios where I have felt I gained / got transfered something while seeking blessings. Being the youngest in my generation, seeking the blessings is not an unusual thing. However, on the day I got married, two young brother in laws seek my blessings.

For the first time, I really felt honored, proud, different .. blah blah blah. Though that moment was quite fulfilling, may be I need to seek means to transfer my powers while blessing with whole hearted than feeling happy about it. :-)

Indian water in American Lands

It's been almost 1 month I landed in Hyderabad and guess what? I lost only a few strands of my hair. I am not sure if this due to NO STRESS related to work, or because of my home land environment. Considering last 2 months at work, I think, stress plays least affect on my hair fall. Even my elder brother's whole family started losing hair drastically and he strongly believes that water plays a huge role.

May be it's true as a doctor from Dr. Bhatra's clinic has suggested for having head bath with Poland spring water. At that time I thought he is a crazy asshole. :-) So, If that's true I wish to have Indian water in American Lands.

My mom speaks out ... (all the stuff in her mind)

Popular Telugu movie comedian, Sri Lakshmi, is well know for peculiar roles. In movie, Kiskinda Kaanda, she plays role of a person who speaks out all the stuff that she thinks in her mind. My mom is no different from her. :-)

Few days back, dad was saying that mom couldn't stop herself from doing so. While I am still teasing her comparing to Sri Lakshmi, she started saying – "I need to turn on the motor, we gonna have power cut soon. I am not sure whether I notified our neighbors ..."

Everyone started laughing to their stomach when she spoke out things going in her mind. Good to be back at home. I am having great time here.
