Last night was a big pain. Not only I had 1.5 hr drive time but also 4.5 hrs wait time in queue to reschedule my canceled air tickets and it's all because of the 6" snow fall.

What I didn't like about my air line is that even 2 hr before the flight departure, the online system says the flight is on time. Should they maintained the website real time, it would have been frustrating for many others like me.

Thanks to my brother, Raju Arjarapu, who not only drove the car slow and safe but also patiently waited all the way down along with his family.

So, we left to home and this morning and I got the tickets rescheduled at continental airlines arena. I got lucky to be 6th person in line to be served. Guess what? It took 1 hr 45 min to get to me and mine took 45 min processing. Though there are no changes on my tickets, she spoke with all the other connecting airlines, KLM, Virgin Atlantic and Continental to make sure that I am confirmed for next available flight on Monday.

Srinivasan Purushothaman, is one hell of a funny guy. He is one of my room-mate and we had good time making fun of him. Well the other day, I remembered an incident that took place in 2004 fall.

Purushothaman and I went into woods / park to get some snaps. We didn't considered the chill factor and by the time we are back, we are almost frozen. He turned on the gas and started to heat himself up. Well it's not a bad idea and thought of doing the same. So, I started to heat my hands by gas and soon realized that something is burning.

Purushothaman is still continuing to get arms heatup not realizing that the burning smell is from him (infact his hair on the hands). When he finally confirmed himself, he turned the gas off. Well, this is one of funniest moment for me, might not be for him

I was pretty much excited to place my hands on Microsoft Vista and Office 2007. Both are pretty much eagerly waiting my many folks out there. But unfortunately, Microsoft delayed the launch of public release, just like Balayya's movie Maharadhi. Just for fun I made a move to Open Suse 10.2 Linux OS and I started loving it.

Who in the hell said that Linux is not user friendly? Just get the openSuse installed on your machine and let me know if you like Windows or Linux. Ever since I installed linux, even though I got my Vista installed on different partition, I hardly went back to Vista despite of the cool new features and graphics in Vista.

Well though this game is to fulfill my fantasies to write video games, this work is dedicated to dudes from WHB community, who encouraged me to do so.

My inclination into OpenGL and DirectX programming lead to an keen interest in Game Programming recently. Couple of week’s back I have written Tic-Tac-Toe game playable by two network users using Irrlicht .NET engine and Lidgren Network Library.

With the encouragement I get from WHB community in Orkut, I decided to write a game on Balayya. Though amateur at Game programming, I though of starting with the 2D Flash programming and found some wonderful tutorials by Emanuele Feronato at

Based on his examples I created and Flash game and excited to show you all. Though it wasn’t different from what Emanuele presented in the part 3 examples, I added some touched up the scene with the some colors. I still need to play with Flash and lot to learn so as to create a game on Balayya. Hopefully, we shall have something within a week
