Pop Eye - The Sailor Man

Pop Eye - The Sailor Man is one of my favorite cartoons. I came to know about this cartoon when I was in High school. Cartoon Network India used to show it around 6.45 AM, my breakfast time. I think was a good start for the day ahead.

Elastic Olive Oyl, Bully Bluto, Pop Eye and super human spinach strength have impressed me most. About couple of months back, when I purchased Clay molds for Rohita, brother's daughter, I thought of molding Pop Eye for fun.

I knew that heavy snowfall that night would result in no work for next day. So, I started to mold at 11 PM. Here is how he looked like.

Getting back to shape is ayn't no easy.

6-pack abs, V shaped back and big biceps are what most men @ gym try to build. Only a few of them are able to build such body and are easily noticeable anywhere in the gym. Rest of them are either trying to be like them or counting calories burnt to loose what they had gained in lunch at MacDonald’s.

Unlike the two types of people as stated above, I want to be different and that's why I go to gym 3-4 times a week. I don't want hefty muscles to attract chicks from pubs / dance clubs. All I am interested is in maintaining my body weight and shape.

Back in the days, I used to go / come from school by walk. The school activities, tennis and cricket kept me rocking, eat a one medium Pizza and yet stay healthy. I started to feel the difference - of not doing any of the above activities and still have same / more quantity of food when I went to California after my graduation.

We Hate Balayya Community @ Orkut

One of the popular online communities that I recently came across is Orkut. It's nice portal to get to know and grow your friends. Through my 6th grade bench mate, Jeevan Nath, I came to know about 'We hate balayya' club. It's amazing to see that fans who hate Balayya are 7 times (10,237) more than the fans who Love 'Chiru fan club' (1,524)

The other day, I was very much bored and thought of checking out the WHB community forum discussions. It was quite funny reading through the comments especially

Spilled tea over computer keyboard

Wiseman says not to do multiple things at same time; Or else something other would get screwed up for sure. That's exactly what has happened today. Not a terrible thing but worth mentioning.

For the past couple of days, I have been drinking Jasmine Green tea at work. I was drinking the tea while working over a project with crazy deadline. Meanwhile my colleague, Stas Rirak stopped by to discuss over different project.

So, I was drinking the tea, working on a project, responding Stas to his question and top of that my other colleague, Saurab, AIM 'ed me 'Meeting hay kya ?'. Stupid me, I spilled the whole tea over my personal 'Microsoft Natural Ergonomic keyboard 4000'. Luckily, I didn't spill it over my pants, or else the situation would have been different :-)

Back to school, in my dream

Yesterday, I had a weird dream about me being back to school in junior, (2nd year). I don't know why but, these are the people I got covered in my dream - obviously me, K.T Nath, Kapil, Gupta, Deepthi, Me-da-tha (you read it right), Trinath, Srikanth P (Banda from Mechanical) and my school friend Sharad from 10th grade, (don't know what the hell he was doing in our school instead of his, BITS Pilani).

Well, it all started with everyone messing around, enjoying coming to school, then bunk classes to watch movies. Any one remember how the classes where when held by Neelima and Krishna? It was those times.
