We do think pretty much in same lines

How we want to get married is whole lot a different story when compared to how the elders want to get their son/daughter marriage done. Marriages in my family are lengthy, culture rich, awesome varieties of food items, gave and take gift items in the forms of garments or ornaments. Well all these are fine when you have 20 members altogether. But when the count goes bigger with relatives spanning through out the family tree, the count turns into 3 digits number.

I have a strong feeling that my relatives are good for taking than giving. And on top of that, I always heard of dudes talking on our back that - they gave costly items to them and these doesn't look lavish, blah blah and the list goes on. So, I said, 'Dad, You know what?. Screw all such relatives, let's get the marriage done simple. I want to get married at registrar office. Sign, Hug, Kiss and Leave'

My family members went crazy after listening to the way I wanted to get married. Any one would be except for my sweet heart, who expressed similar thoughts to their family (prior we exchanged our opinions). That's what makes me feel proud that we both think in same lines are made for each other. She expressed her interest to get 'married in temple with fewest possible close relatives.' When she exchanged our views, she was fine with my idea as well except for the Hug & Kiss (in front of all)
