Stalin - Man for the Society
Couple of months ago I saw the Chiranjeevi's much hyped movie - Stalin. IMHO, at first I thought that, the story writer lifted the idea of filling post cards containing 'Sri Lord Venkateshwara Mahatyam blah ... send this text to at least 10 people and you would become millionaire soon etc'; but confirmed by my friends as a story lifted from Pay It Forward movie. In either case, application of this concept in Stalin movie might fetch some appreciations for future electoral entry.
Oh BTW, here is the formula Chiranjeevi (Chiru) used in the movie.
Σ 3 ^ n where n = 0, 1, 2, 3....
The movie trailer says that watch the movie to find out the formula. Now that you know you don't have to watch the movie. :-)
Overall the movie is okay, if you don’t have much expectation from Chiru and the Director, Murugudass, then the movie would be average. Long story short, Stalin is a ex-military major, wants to help the community. Having enlightened under a banyan tree while watching physically challenged students competitions, he comes up the above formula and tries it implementation to succeed at the end.
The couple of events that I couldn't resist mentioning here are:
- Heroine intro: She starts with a froggy jump into pool and gets first price in swimming competition
- Stalin's flash back as Major. Funny Hindi and English, wins the war with Pakistan all alone.
- When chitti A-luka is kidnap chiru rescue him, 100s of goons comes out of one car.
- Chiru applies the above formula in CM's rescue mission as well. When he swings the iron rod, 3 flew away, and each one of them fells on 3 other goons and chain continues. So he easily handled 1000's of goons.
Though this movie got some story in it, it could have done better overall by NOT competing with any Balayaa movies. May be director's role is taken over by Chiru to live up to his standards in the move.
